The hobby of sewing has remained popular throughout time. The invention takes the overall form of a tapered hexagon-shaped mounted desk unit with a base dimension of approximately 10 inches square and an overall height of approximately 14 inches. The base utilizes a rotating "Lazy-Susan" mechanism to allow the easy viewing of any of the six sides of the unit. Each of the six tapered sides is provided with an array of varying diameter rods, which accommodate a total of up to 90 different spools and 108 bobbins. The tapered nature of the invention not only ensures that the spools and bobbins will remain in place due to gravity, but also that the spools and bobbins can be easily viewed from a seated position. "The invention can be moved from work station to work station with ease, eliminating disorganization and frustration," adds Inventor Lauer. The use of the Easy Reach Thread Organizer Carousel allows not only for the storage of thread on spools and bobbins in a simple, easy and effective manner, but also for efficient use of small work spaces.
